Terms of Service (Terms & Conditions)

Carpet & upholstery cleaning

1.1. In these Terms of Service, the following conditions will
The phrases or terms like “The Company”, “We” or “Us” - means Burnley Carpet Clean.
“Carpet Cleaner”, “Carpet Cleaning Specialist” or “Carpet Cleaning Operative”
- means the staff member that is carrying out the carpet or upholstery cleaning services on behalf of the BUrnley Carpet Clean.
“Client” or “Customer -
means the person, company or business worked for including -
any subsidiary or associated sub contracting company as defined and declared by the
Companies Act 1985 to whom the carpet and upholstery cleaning services are
supplied by the Burnley Carpet Clean (the company).
“Customers Address” – means the address where the Client has
requested the carpet or upholstery cleaning service to be carried out.
“Service”, “Rug Cleaning, “Carpet
Cleaning”, “Upholstery Cleaning” - means the
services carried out on behalf of the Company (Burnley Carpet Clean).
“Carpet Cleaning Visit” - means the visit to the Customers service address
by our staff in order to carry out the carpet, rug or upholstery cleaning service.

1.2. Unless the context or meaning entails otherwise, any reference to the
singular which includes the plural and also which may reference to the masculine will also
include the feminine and vice versa.
2. Contract of Service
2.1 These Terms of Service or Terms and Conditions represent a contract between
Burnley Carpet Clean and the Client.
2.2 Both parties of the customer and company shall ensure that both their respective accountability under
this agreement are always carried out and
undertaken in accordance and compliance with all known statutory regulations and
the codes of conduct for England and Wales
2.3 The Customer agrees that any use of Burnley Carpet clean's cleaning services,
including placing an order for cleaning services by phone, text, email, or directly from the
website contact form shall constitute the Customers acceptance of the terms of service or terms and conditions laid out.
2.4 Unless stated and otherwise agreed beforehand in writing to the company by a MD of Burnley Carpet Clean,
these terms of service (Terms and Conditions) will always over rule any
other terms of service or business purchase agreements put forward by
the Customer.
2.5 No changes, variation or alteration of these terms of service (Terms and Conditions)
will have any validity unless it is approved in writing by a MD of of the
Company (Burnley Carpet Clean).
3. VAT
3.1. The Company is not currently VAT registered
4. Equipment
4.1. Burnley Carpet Clean provide equipment and cleaning solutions for every job except when it's changed in writing beforehand.
4.2. The Customer though must provide -
a freee running water supply, electricity and a safe lighting supply at the property where the service takes place.
5. Payment
Burnley Carpet Clean
5.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Burnley Carpet Clean -
the work carried out is rendered for immediate payment on the completion on the same day as the work is carried out.
The Customer must make payment to Burnley Carpet Clean by cash, unless previously agreed in writing
and then cheques and BACS payments may be accepted if agreed before the work is carried out.
5.2 If we do not receive payment on completion of work carried out by us the company will seek immediate by card or BACS.
5.3 We reserve the right to -
cancel any arranged work if we ask for payment before any work is carried out and payment from the Clients card or bank is declined.
5.4 For commercial customers invoiced on a 30 day invoice we reserve the right to charge interest on overdue
invoices that are unpaid for every day after 30 days at the legal rate stated by law
and charge rates are marked clearly on our invoices.
5.5 An administrative fee of £50 will be added to any balance due, that is referred for collection.
Any debt management company used to collect an outstanding debt from the Client may also charge their own collection fees.
5.6 Cheques being returned unpaid will be charged an administrative fee to the Client of £40 per cheque.
5.7 Burnley Carpet Clean reserves the right to cancel any business contract job project
5.8 The Client agrees to be charged by BACS or card for any outstanding payments.
5.9 The clent must always pay on the day or to the temrs of a invoice if stated.
5.10 The client will not attempt to discount or make a reduction on the agreed price.
5.11 Burnley Carpet Clean will set the job price, not the customer.
6. Cancellation Of Services
6.1. The Client may cancel at anytime upto 24hrs before the work planned.
6.2 The Company reserves the right to ask for a non-refundable deposit.
6.3. The booked customer must pay in full if:
6.3.1 Our staff can not gain entry or if nobody is at the property to help us gain access;
6.3.2 If the client cancels without 24 hours notice.
6.4. If the cleaning appointment is needed to be rearranged we will try our best to do so but is dependant on availability
7. Refund Policy
7.1. No refund claims will be entitled to after the clean has been carried out.
7.2. A full or part refund will only be issued if:
7.2.1 The Customer has cancelled before 24hrs before the cleaning
7.2.2 A staff member has not been able to carry out
the cleaning due to reasons beyond his/her or the clients control.

8. Our Complaints Policy
8.1. All cleaning services will be deemed to be carried out to a satisfactory standard unless a complaint is recieved
by email to (info@burnleycarpetclean.co.uk) within 24hrs of the work being completed.
8.2. The Customer will allow Burnley Carpet Clean to re-clean the area in dispute to rectify the alleged problem and
will not try to clean the alleged issue themselves or use a third party or the complaint will become void.
9. Liability Policy
9.1. The Company (Burnley Carpet Clean) will not be held liable at anytime or under any circumstances
for any loss, expense, damage, delay, costs or compensation
(whether direct, indirect or consequential) which may be
suffered or incurred by the Client arising from or in any way
connected with:
9.1.1 Its failure to carry out its services as a result of factors
that are beyond its control. Factors beyond its control include
acts of god, floods, severe weather conditions, and inability to

gain access to premises, lack of appropriate resources, such as
water, electricity, and lighting;
9.1.2 Late arrival of Company operatives at the service
address. The Company endeavours to be right on time on any
visit but sometimes due to transport related and other
problems which are beyond the Company’s control, the
Company operative’s may arrive with a delay or the cleaning
visit may be
9.1.3 An existing damage to Clients property in the form of old
stains/burns/spillages etc. which cannot be cleaned/removed
completely by the cleaning operative using the industry
standard cleaning methods;
9.1.4 None satisfactory result from the service due to the
Client or third party walking on wet floors or using appliances
during or shortly after the cleaning process;
9.2. The Company shall not be liable for any damages worth
£40.00 or less.
9.3. The Company shall not be liable for any odours arising
during and/or after cleaning when this is due to factors such
as, lack of ventilation, and/or appropriate heating.
9.4. The Company shall not be liable under any circumstances
for any loss, expense, damage, delay, costs or compensation
(whether direct, indirect or consequential) which may be
suffered or incurred by the Client if the Client has an
outstanding balance aged 30 days or more from the date the
payment was due.
10. Our Guarantee
10.1 The Company has built its business and reputation
by providing its clients with the best possible cleaning
service available. Still, the Company realises, that
because its operatives are human beings, they
sometimes make mistakes. For this reason, the
Burnley Carpet Clean
Company offers you a guarantee. If the Client is not
satisfied with the Company’s service for any reason, the
Company’s operatives will come back to
the Client’s home and re-clean to his complete
10.2 Our guarantee is subject to a complaint notice no
later than 24 hours after the completion of the service.
10.3 Our guarantee is invalid should a client choose to
reside at the property once an End of Tenancy clean
being conducted.
We take no responsibility for the return of the tenancy
deposit should a client use any fittings within the
property such as ovens, bathrooms or kitchen
appliances or chose to reside at the property therefore
after a cleaning being completed.
10.4 All property maintenance related repair work
comes with a standard 12 month guarantee on all work
undertaken including goods supplied
11. Insurance
11.1. The Company shall insure all work it undertakes. The
Company’s public liability insurance covers damages caused by
a cleaning operative working on behalf of the Company and
includes Treatment Risk and Fidelity Risk covers as standard.
All claims are subject to an excess of £50.00.
12. Law
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and
Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
Courts of England, and Wales.
